I've been wanting to learn my way around this program for quite some time so I am very glad to have this chance to take this class. It's hard not to be shy about posting my work but here goes! I'm a beginner, and I haven't taken an art class since high school but I do work in fabrics and needleart. So I boldly embark into new territory with Painter.
MY BUNNY
I used a bit of clip art as a model and embellished it with some different brushes. I suppose the gradient background is a little strange but it resembled a horizon, sort of! The furry brush was fun and I love the way the watercolors run right down the page. It will take me a while to remember which brush does what and what layer I am on, because I couldn't explain this work if my life depended on it!
I also took a photo of my cat, turned it into a sketch, and colored it with different brush strokes. This looks like it's going to be a bit more promising.
Back to the old drawing board for now!
